80% of Elden Ring’s physical sales in the United Kingdom were purchased on PlayStation 5 and PS4. On all sales, 63% of the players opted for the PlayStation 5 version, while 17% blocked the punitive action RPG on the PS4. Only 3% purchased a box pc copy, the remaining 17% of physical copies being engulfed on Xbox.
It should be recalled that these sales data only take into account physical sales, and 49% of Horizon Forbidden West sales were reported digitally last week. As such, this is a small overview of the overall image of sales.
The good news for Elden Ring is that he surpasses all previous retail games, including Dark Souls 3, which he has exceeded 26% physically. When you consider that the digital sales mix has increased considerably since the rest of 2016, it is safe to say that this game is selling very well.
Horizon Forbidden West has always had a better launch than the punitive title of fromSoftware, although its sales dropped from 79% from one week to another, which is somewhat awaited – especially since stock ps5 was once again non-existent in the UK last week.
Elsewhere, the only other significant novelty was Grid Legends, which ranked 18th in the overall ranking of physical sales and carried out 73% of its sales on PS5 and PS4. We have included the ten best below, but if you are part of the British who have recently bought new games, do not forget to consult our Ring Guide d’Elden and Guide Horizon Forbidden West .
